A Sophisticated wedding at One Hundred Shoreditch.
Aesthetically this wedding at One Hundred Shoreditch is probably one of my favourites to date: when two designers get together to create a wedding, they have an eye for detail. Between Edina and Usman, they sculpted a wedding full of joy, fun and with a cool edge that matched their personalities so well.
The heart balloons were always going to be a theme, but when I saw the red roses and the stationary come together, along with Edina’s shoes, during the pre-wedding photos, I knew this one was going to look epic on camera. The look came together at the end of the evening when they unveiled a fluffy black and red wedding cake and a custom made red neon light for the dance floor.
I bloody love shooting in London – the skyline is so iconic and the people on the streets so unique. It adds an edge that you cannot replicate in other cities. It felt like such a privilege to be high up in the One Hundred Room, with it’s panoramic views of London city, and I knew this was the reason Edina and Usman had chosen this venue, so I used it whenever I could in their photography. Down on street level it was fashion week and London was teaming with fashionistas. We didn’t have to walk far through the streets of Shoreditch before we could incorporate a trendy photo bomber.
