Summer Outdoor Weddings in the UK
This weather has got me thinking about summer, outdoor weddings! I mean – if you could, you would, wouldn’t you? Ok – I know. We Can’t bank on the weather in the UK. But, honestly, some of the most beautiful weddings I have ever got have been outdoors. And yes – it has rained on some them. But not this one, well not for long anyway. This stunning outdoor wedding ceremony belongs to Soph and Matt and was held at The Walled Garden in Beeston Fields.
Outdoor wedding ceremony.
This venue has NAILED the outdoor ceremony. It’s literally beaut-i-FULL. You couldn’t wish for a more glorious setting full of quintessentially English flowers. Not only does it look great – but it smells divine. This ceremony was set up to face the raised area with a wall full of roses, or you can choose to use the pagoda if you please.
Confetti
I’m a big fan of an authentic confetti moment, so when Soph and Matt said they wanted to go big on the confetti I was totally on board. The way forward is to buy the biodegradable big disk confetti as it has the best flutter. Buy an absolute shed load and instruct whoever hands it out to tell people to take fist fulls! Boom!
Summer Wedding flowers
One of the best things about summer outdoor weddings in the UK is the flowers and foliage. I mean, come on… I don’t think you get better anywhere in the world. This walled garden was full to the brim with stunning flowers. Soph had chosen flowers and bouquets by the awesome Gigil and Bloom which just sung summer outdoor wedding in all their glory.
I just loved this personal touch to Soph and Matt’s summer outdoor wedding: they had all the napkins for their guests embroidered with their names. Such a wonderfully intimate detail!
