Stone Barn Wedding
I love to shoot a Stone Barn wedding, and as a trusted supplier I get to see it across the entire year. This June wedding is one of my favourites as it was full of all the feels and colourful details. Keep scrolling to see a stunning asymmetric wedding dress, jewel toned bridesmaids dresses and colourful bouquets. There are so many beautiful angles to hit at this venue, especially with the starry ceiling which allows for the most perfect bokeh in the background.

Stone Barn Wedding Ceremony
So my big tip for the best wedding photography at Stone Barn is to have your ceremony in front of the big windows. It means that the light will hit you beautifully. Plus, at this time of day the sun is around the front of the building so there’s no chance of it being too bright and creating mega harsh shadows. This ceremony set up also allows for better viewing for your guests. Plus – if you have had the flower ring made up you stand pretty much underneath it so make the most of that feature too.
Group Shots
We chose to have group shot outside for Lucy and Max as the weather was stunning but as the sun was in and out we had to make a wise location choice. When in doubt find open shade and there is only one place at Stone Barn: with the barn doors behind the group. I love how all the bridesmaids have the same dress in different jewel tones – along with the Mother of the Bride in purple, I thought the colours came together so well.
Wedding Portraits
We were so lucky that the daisies were out for Max and Lucy’s wedding. I had never shot at Stone Barn before when they had bloomed so well, so we took full advantage. I just love the soft romantic feel they gave to the wedding portraits.
Make an Entrance
Max and Lucy took my advice and took the long route to their place at the wedding breakfast table. They played super funky music and really worked it, dancing along the Moroccan inspired mezzanine. I wonder if waving the napkins is going to make it into 2024 too?? It deffinitely always gets everyone on their feet and smiling so why not?
The Stone Barn Wedding Dancefloor
The wedding dance floor at Stone Barn is the dance floor that just keeps on giving. every wedding I shoot here is full of people out to have a good time. Of course an excellent band always helps get everyone in the mood.
