East London Pub wedding: part 1.
The vibe was so very chilled at John and Sally’s East London pub wedding and the people so relaxed. Double bonus for me, because I had shot the wedding of a fair few of the friends at the wedding. This meant that it was a great chance to catch up with some familiar faces.
Sally got ready at The Stratford Hotel before we headed to the church where the groom’s parents had got married. All Saints Church in Stratford has a very friendly vicar by the way, who actually lets you take pictures. Love him!
It wouldn’t be a London wedding without red double decker buses, right? John and Sally had two to transport everyone to their wedding reception at Royal Inn On Th e Park, right next to Victoria Park in East London.
East London Pub Wedding: part 2
As everyone piled off the route masters, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to grab a shot of the whole wedding party. Precariously balancing on a bench, I grabbed a few frames before everyone went into the pub for some much needed refreshments.
Sally is a talented artist so I knew she would have made sure the pub was dressed beautifully. She had commissioned another local artist to sign write on one of the mirrors in the pub, and had used the same design on the table stationary. The overall vibe was so relaxed and pretty.
We were literally right next to Victoria Park; whilst the guests were scoffing the canapés we headed into the park to do a few more group shots and Sally and John’s portraits.
Back in the pub it was almost time for the wedding breakfast. The food at Royal Inn On The Park is absolutely delicious and is presented so beautifully. The delicate simplicity of it really matched the vibe of this East London pub wedding.
