The most important thing to me is that you enjoy your wedding day. I want you to fully immerse yourself in the experience—this is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, so I’m here to capture it in all its magic while you wrap yourself up in the moment.
Before your wedding, we’ll dive into a detailed questionnaire and have an excited chat about your plans. I love learning about the heart and soul of your day, which helps me understand exactly what’s important to you. Then, with everything planned and in place, I switch into documentary creative mode; focused on finding the best light, the most creative compositions, and capturing all the emotions.
At most weddings I get asked, “So, how do you know A & B?” My ability to connect with people, combined with a dose of well-timed over-familiarity, often leads me to be mistaken for a friend with a camera. And that’s when the magic happens—by blending in and capturing moments from the inside, I can get the most intimate, authentic documentary shots that truly tell the story of your day.
When it comes to family photos, I get it – having those multigenerational group shots are important to you and your family now and to future family members too. We’ll keep it efficient but relaxed, making sure your family feels valued while also leaving plenty of time for the candid moments. And of course, we’ll grab those epic group shots with your bridesmaids and groomsmen to celebrate the fun, laughter, and connection you share.
But beyond that, I’m here to create something truly special of the two of you. I know it can feel awkward to pose or figure out what to do with your hands, but don’t worry—I’ve got you. I’ll guide you through it with gentle direction, making sure you stay relaxed, have fun, and enjoy the time you spend together in front of the camera. By the end, I promise you’ll feel like you’ve had a mini date during your wedding day—and the photos will reflect that.
My edit leans towards a darker and edgier style, and the colours will be true to life and vibrant. I adore black and white edits, preferring a soft grainy edit for emotive moments and something with higher contrast for frames shot with direct flash or harsh light.
I highly recommend it! An engagement shoot is a fantastic way for us to get to know each other before the big day. It can also help you feel more relaxed in front of the camera, which makes a huge difference on the wedding day. For more details, check out my INVESTMENT section.
I don’t typically use Photoshop for image manipulation. I focus on using editing software to clean up and tone the images, but I won’t alter your appearance. I believe in capturing you as you are, naturally.
Nope, everything’s transparent. Your online gallery is yours to share with anyone you choose, and there are no extra fees for downloading or printing your images. The gallery will stay live for 8 weeks. If your wedding requires special travel arrangements or an overnight stay, any additional costs will be clearly listed in your package.
Of course! Feel free to share your images with your suppliers, and please ask them to mention and tag me on social media. Just a heads up – if a publication like Hello magazine wants to feature your images, the copyright remains with me, but I’d be thrilled to work with you to make that happen!
Trust me, you probably don’t want every single shot! I take a lot of photos during the day, but I spend hours carefully curating your gallery to ensure only the best shots make the cut. I remove any blurry, awkward, or less-than-perfect images, so you get a polished selection of the best moments.
If you want one, I’ll post a sneak peek of your wedding within a week, giving you a little preview of what’s to come. Your full gallery will be ready within a maximum of 8 weeks, so you won’t have to wait too long to relive the magic!
Living in Bedford allows me to easily travel in all directions. I shoot a lot in London, The Cotswolds and Lincolnshire, but will travel anywhere in the UK for the right couple. I do a maximum of one destination wedding per year so get in there quick if you are thinking you want to fly me out somewhere.
Probably not. But maybe. It depends on your requirements. I shoot most weddings on my own but am happy to chat with you to help you decide what you need.
